TestRail 3.1.1 released

Hello,

We are happy to announce the immediate availability of TestRail 3.1.1!

What's new in TestRail 3.1.1
Please see below for the changes of this version.

  • Added: Support for sub-tasks for Jira_REST defect plugin (optional)

  • Added: Support for Assigned To field for FogBugz defect plugin

  • Added: Support for 'refs' and 'milestone_id' test case fields in get_test/get_tests API methods (API v2)

  • Added: JavaScript check to test case form to ensure that a case is not saved when JavaScript is not working properly

  • Changed: Enforce selection of Type field on User Variable dialog on Administration > Integration page

  • Fixed: Test case selection (case_ids) of a test run is not updated if the include_all field is not included in the request (update_run API method, API v2)

  • Fixed: Editing an inactive user with admin rights is denied if there's only one additional administrator left

  • Fixed: Changing the entry-global Assigned To field may also add the assignee name to the configuration rows on the test plan form

  • Fixed: Case type field is set to default for archived test cases if deleting a case type (should only be the case for non-archived test cases)

  • Fixed: YouTrack defect plugin now longer shows the subsystems for a project

Updating to the new version
All accounts of TestRail Hosted already use the new version.

If you are using the download version of TestRail, you can update to the new version as usual by installing it over your existing TestRail installation (there's no need to uninstall your existing installation). The database upgrade wizard is automatically started when you access TestRail with your web browser. Please see the update instructions for details:

Please take the time to make a backup of your current installation before upgrading to the new version.
